Selling my MIB 12'' series boba fett for 147 pounds
The figure/ doll is beautifull and in complete good condition.
the box has no structure damage only 3 spots of paint ripping as shown on the pictures ( nobody seems to know if the inlay is real or repro so i've lowered the price drasticly to make up for it if it is a repro)

Nice piece at a good price, but not sure if the insert is correct (could be mistaken though!) Sure Fett's insert was yellow, not red, might be a Vader insert. Lee Bullock would be able to confirm.

If this had been in an ESB box I would have had it!

Good luck with the sale.

Dear Andy ,

The figure came from a collector so i'm not the first owner , he was not played with by the last owner or by myself He is completely original .
The figure itself look very nice but i can't promise in anyway that it hasn't bin played with by other owners before us.
But to my eye he looks mint .

Thank you,

William

Well firstly the rocket is the thin blade version which is correct for the SW box - however the insert gives me problems. the colour should usually match the name plate background and the rocket pack is usually inserted into the backing card in a die-cut slot and not affixed with bands. Now there is a caveat in the sense there there are three backing variations to Vader, two backing variations to chewbacca and two variations to stormtrooper but in ALL of those cases the backing cards only really differ in the printing of white squares so not to mark the figure (an assumption as to motive) - and they all have no variation in colour. Is this real? I cant say 100% that this is not a hitherto unknown variation - but if I was buying it I would be erring on the side of assuming its a replacement.

Hope that helps

Lee

Dear lee ,

There is a version with the orange inlay where his weapon sits on the side of the inlay ,there is also a yellow version were the weapon sits on his back .So 2 versions except the orange inlay does not match the color on the box plate it is slightly darker .

Thank you William

have you got photographs to confirm this?

Don't mean to piss on your f/s thread but if its repro it can't be sold here. Thems the rules.

Perhaps sell the Boba as loose with the box and no inlay if you think its repro, but don't pass it on.

p.s. I dont collect these, so I have no idea if its repro or not but if I needed to know about 12" figures, Lee would be the guy I went to.
