Still time left to get your times in before being made public :)

Thanks for the support lads :D

I have got to close the comp' now as you can go to the website type in my race number and get my time.

I finished in 5hrs 22mins.

Which makes Chiffy our winner. Well done mate. Drop me a PM with your address.

Not as quick as I was hoping but I had a bad ankle (Bram was carrying an injury too) and the sun absolutely drained me, I have also realise I am too old for this sort of thing. Training in the snow and ice does not prepare you for a warm days running. I think a lot of people suffered from the change in weather, but it certainly brought the crowds out and they make they day worth being involved in.

Thanks again SWFUKers :D :D :D :D :D

Hey hey ratfans! 1st can i say a huge congrats to Chris for running the comp aswell as the marathon. I'm well happy and i had every confidence that Chris would be slow as **** and blame Bram for the finish :D Nah my guess was a randomer as i have a few friends that have done it in similar times and taken into account fatigue and weather etc so thanks again everyone for the congrats i can't wait to receive the little grey twat
PS Chubbs didya happen to see my mate running in a Grimsby shirt and bright orange shorts? He did 6 miles before his knee packed in and walked the rest

Bram whooped me

After talking to him at FF3 I knew he was taking it a lot more seriously than I was, he was looking to go under 4 hours

We both had dodgy ankles but he still managed 4:16 which is awesome. Forgetting his ankle issues just the hot sun was enough to slow most runners down on the day.

Bram won the battle of the SWFUKers, we both survived and will meet again though and cross sabres in another event
