After nearly 10 years of trading Madeleine's Vintage Star Wars shop will now be closing down.
To a certain extent it has become a victim of it's own success. It is taking up so much time and we just cannot keep up with it all any more.
Madeleine used to work part time but was made redundant last month. She has just found a new job but it is full time so will not be able to devote time to wrapping star wars items and taking trips to the post office every day!
We have one more delivery of stock due and after this there will be no new stock. We will list everything we have and then slowly reduce prices / accept lower offers until we are out of stock. When we know we will have some time we will send items from our shop into auctions to sell it quicker.
It will probably take some time to shift all of the stuff we have but once it is gone it is gone. I personally will miss it but with us both having full time jobs and 2 young children we just cannot keep it up.
Keep an eye on our auctions in the new year - you may be able to pick up some bargains!
Thanks for the support from people on this forum over the years
