Hey guys
Just bought a job lot with luke stormie in it... I then looked at the one i had originally the helmets are very different i think one may be repro .. Any ideas??

I had the same problem, the guys were fit to tell me once i got a picture of the inside of the helmet. Mine turned out a repro.

I believe the one without the lip inside is fake

yep my thought too... was hoping both were real but luke stormie with that helmet was an early ebay purchase ... so when I saw the new one thought I may have been sold a dud
any idea what it may be worth as a fake, guess I can at least help someone out till they can afford the real deal

I think the one with the raised groove inside the helmet at the back is vintage, will also have the mould sprue break point on top of the helmet. The one with the circle on the back is a reproduction.

Sorry mate but we don't condone the selling of repros on here, it's unfortunate you've been stung (we all have at some point) but these things need destroying not selling on again.

If I bought something that turned out to be fake from eBay it would be going back to the seller without any hesitation. Whoever sold this must have known.

Bought it a few years ago when i first started out didnt even think to check was just happy to have got what i thought was real deal...
