Hi all

Just got this Luke Storm. Fig is fine and I believe the helmet is too. The blaster however. Pitch black but doesnt float. I bought it as 100% original.

Whats the judgement?

Thanks

Christian

Gracias amigo.

What is a fair refund for missing blaster? I haveto find one pay postage too.

Hard to say depends how much you paid for the figure. Blasters alone can sell for £100 alone.

Blaster is deffo Repro. Helmet looks good. If he sold it as solid black I'd be looking for around £60 off. If he sold it as blue black expect £15. Luke Stormtrooper with Helmet in that condition should be approx £85 - £100.

Just to echo what others have said, the helmet is original but the blaster is no good. If it sinks, it stinks! (In the case of Imperial Blasters)

Thank you all for your swift and expert advice!

Worth adding that there are a few things that aren't floaters - like the gammy axe and yoda's cane come to mind. Well worth having a good look at the imperial gunnery website - it is a brilliant resource. I know my personal blind spot is lightsabres and the fiddly endor blasters so I always use that site. eBay is a minefield though especially as it's very difficult to tell without good quality pics. As a rule I like to think that if a seller was selling a genuine sold black blaster they would go out of their way to take the best possible photos (but that's not to say what will arrive !)

Yep he's claiming it's black and all original. Doubt he's going to knock at least £60 off of that, so I'd be asking for a return, and once agreed opening a case to return it through the proper eBay channels for protection for both buyer and seller.

Be careful he might claim you're trying to scam him by swapping the weapons.

Just as a note always ask for close up pics of the solid black blaster, as intentionally or unintentionally people get it wrong as it's a very hard weapon to identify and the v1b grey and v4 black can often look solid black to the untrained eye.

For what it's worth, advice wise, open a dispute on eBay and send it back. It's adverting a 100% original black blaster and frankly it's not. So why let the guy off ? Just open the dispute and that way there is no debate and the seller has to cover the return costs. It's the correct way to send a message.

I'd say that disregarding the blaster costs is not helpful to the maths of the deal.

That all said, I've not yet encountered a German seller who was knowingly dishonest, so it might be a mistake you can work out.

Good evening gents

So the nice seller found another blaster. I dont want to bias anyone, I have an opinion but Im no weapons expert.

What do you say?

Cheers
