Loose figures - which ones are hardest to get MINT?

I've been on a mission recently, trying to put together as mint a set of loose vintage figures, plus the obvious variants, as I can. And I can tell you that I found certain figures an absolute pain in the arse to get mint.

Top of my list has to go to Han Bespin. What is it with this figure and paint rub on his hair? Every single time, and always at the front!

It might not be an obvious choice but I had real problems getting a mint, loose example. I was even tempted at one point to track down one on a beater card.

Next is the At At driver. One of my favourite figures from the vintage line. But always paint rub on his chest armour - or the emblems are rubbed.

R2 - all versions, are hard to get mint I found, the label is nearly always grubby from being handled.

And of course - EV 9D9...still looking...

Echo the DSD and Imperial dignitary are tough, also the PD and any R2/R5 figures.

Bloody imperials with shoulder/helmet emblems too.

I would say that in order these are the hardest to find minty

1. DSD - loose limbs or paint loss or both
2. Fixed Limbs C3P0 - loose limbs (harder to find as re-released)
3. R2 Solid dome - sticker damage and paint loss to dome (also harder to find as re-released)

Then all of the following tend to have the same issues

Imperial Dignitary - nose rub
Han Bespin - rub at the front of his hair
Han Hoth - paint loss on white gloves
Tusken Raider - paint loss on silver horns
Boba Fett - paint loss on chest plate
Gammy Guard - paint loss to yellow horns and sandals
Luke X-Wing - paint loss to hands and helmet emblems
Han Carbonite - paint loss in hair and to bum
R5 - Sticker damage & yellowing
R2 (Sensorscope) - Sticker damage and paint loss to dome

DSD! Been on a quest for one for a while. Just won an auction on ebay for one that has stiff limbs. Whether or not it lives up to this, remains to be seen!

i think we can all agree that dsd is the most difficult to get mint between the limbs and paint.
besides dsd i would have to go with the bespin guards. they are near imposible to get with the gold piping intact. same with leia bespin.
also have to throw blue snags in there with his boots/belt buckle

Unfortunately we are seeing less and less DSD on cards as many are opened to get minty loose examples. I cringe when I see them for sale and hope that they go to understanding collectors.
