Long shot, anyone got this DVD

As the title says, it's a long shot but does anyone have a copy of "Starchaser the Legend of
Orin" on DVD that they don't need/want and are happy to sell?

UK, region 2.

Yeah, I saw it and a few others on Ebay, but region 1 won't play on my auld DVD player. Cheers anyway. I'll keep looking.

Absolutely love that film, remember watching it as a kid and it was great.

Funnily enough I actually watched this about 3 weeks back, the full film is up on youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uoH33uKDVpQ

I don't have the DVD though i'm afraid, i'm also looking to buy it as well eventually but the only one I have ever been able to find is region 1 on the ebay US site, which always made me wonder did they even release it on region 2?, I don't think they did.

Yeah, I watched it on Youtube a year or so ago. I want a DVD copy though as my son is called Orin. The missus wanted Oran which is some irish name and I didn't fancy it but after 3 weeks he still had no name so we settled on Orin.

Definitely worth a watch, some fans actually regard the story as good as Star Wars, and it is a very entertaining film. Some also like to say it's a ripoff of Star Wars but in actual fact it's more inspired by it I think, because it really is it's own film in a lot of ways.

Also it's a South Korean film which was dubbed in English which may be why it wasn't as well known in the UK, something I only found out about in recent years.

And don't get put off by the film's length in that youtube vid, for some reason it's a double upload and plays again after it's finished, the actual length is only something like 90 mins.

That's a classic! Remember watching it but haven't seen it prob since the 80's. Quite MOTU in its animation style, same era I suppose. Might have to check it out again.
