loft find with a VCJ?

Wow, I've definitely got nothing like this in my loft. You would have thought a loft find in the UK would have Palitoy cards but I suppose it could have been a collectors loft - Just hope they're all genuine.

At first glance it all looked good....

Then I saw that there is a Wally in the description but no photo of one though, a few of the listed MOC's are not pictured and the VCJ has a very shiny looking cape.

Good thing is the seller is open to viewing so you can get these in your hands before making a bid.

yes , I asked for some more photo's , the cape does look shiny , also he is holding his blaster , card is in poor shape
:?: what does everyone else think

How close to Bristol are you Steve?

If you could get a look you can figure out how much you would pay whether or not the VCJ is legit.

Personally I would not bid or offer without a hands on look...

Then again I would not make a bid or an offer regardless as I have not got that kind of money

hi ,

I would need a flight , some of the other cards are in rough shape , however the vcj is one of the last 3 figures I need to complete my moc collection

however it doesn't look right to me , so wont take the chance

There might be a SWFUKer close to the action who could take a look for you...

You could sweeten them up with one of the other MOC's as bung

You could then kill them if they make a bad judgement call and its a repro cape in a reseal

Only one card left, good luck finishing the run. :D

good idea , though £1000 , I would not make that back on the other moc 's , the bubble looks original , however there are lots of reseals out there , pisses me off

Guys these really don't look right at all. The R5 has no footer and a repro sticker on it. That VCJ has a repro cape and should never have the gun in his hand. I'd stay well clear of this as some of the cards look to be repro as well.

I'm very happy to be proved wrong but it ain't worth the gamble.

Ian

Actually I do think there might be a footer in R5 but just look at the bubble stem?! Looks a bit short don't you think? I'm thinking that power droid card is repro also judging by the hanger tab and that the damage to these and soft photos has been put there to fool people. I'm not even sure about the power of the force ones being real. Stay clear!!

The potf cards look fine but I don't like the look of the star wars cards at all. The surface of that r5d4 card looks very shiney.

I agree , I have all the original 12 backs and 20 backs and the ones on offer don't look the same , I have never seen a Jawa holding his blaster , however to be 100% sure , you would need to hold and touch the card , finding out the good old fashioned way , it should smell of the seventies

I know what you mean about having it in hand but take a look at the power droid bubble, notice anything different to this shabby looking one?

Maybe the POTF ones are ok but those SW ones I think not. You can even see the where tape has been used to attach the Ben one. This surely must be worth reporting?

It's the seal on the bubble where it goes in around the stem that really stuck out to me. Take a look with the zoom tool. Maybe it's a one of a kind!

The stem looks a lot thinner in the Loft Find lot...

The blue around the Kenner looks weak too now I have something to compare it too. The R5 sticker looks dirty too.

I want to see the Wally, the MOC that is not the seller.

I'm going to a party in Brizzle on Saturday. I could have a little detour?
