I have just cleaned the Snowspeeder from my new Danish childhood lot and then I saw it is from Canada :shock:

This is my first snowspeeder with a coo from Canada 8)

Some awesome stuff on here
As a newbie collector this thread has inspired me and this weekend I'll be going back to my parents to turn the place upside down looking for any of my collection which has survived the years

I know that my Mum definitely binned the larger ships like my falcon and AT-AT but I am pretty hopefull my collection of around 50 figures has survived.

I remember them being in pristine condition but suspect that this is partly due to the great memories I have of them and I suspect most of the weapons were lost behind the couch a long time ago

Anyway, I will try to post photos of what I find

Great condition, as others have said. The Wampa in particular, it's not often you find one so evenly white and with unscuffed paint on the claws.

Yes the wampa is nice and white, very mint and not easy to find

Many of the figures looks like he have never played with them or only played with them a few times. Only some of the first figures looks like there have been played with them

But I have helped him with some other star wars items. I have some cardbacks with danish price stickers on them for him, that I hope to trade with him soon. I got them in a huge cardback lot that I got last year. I do not have the cardbacks in this thread that I found last year. Maybe I should upload them, there was a lot of palitoy between them and 12 backs. The first 12 backs I have ever found with danish price stickers on them. It was cool to find them, because I was not sure about star wars was sold in denmark before 1980, I had only heard rumors about it. But after I found this cardbacks, I was sure that some stores had them in the 70s

Now I think that only a few stores sold star wars in the 70s. Also after I have talked with many danes about what they remember from the childhood years about buying star wars. Same say we could not find star wars in the 70s in denmark so we bought them in other countries and others say they remember it was in the stores in the 70s. The last big childhood collection I found that I uploaded in this thread, the seller told me he could not find it in denmark so most of it is was bought in manchester uk :shock:

I have just picked up this childhood lot from an older couple but Unfortunately there was no weapons in the lot, a few beaters but most are great with stiff arms and legs and the capes are mint

Hi guys, ok I have been lucky. I have received 2 childhood collections today

Here is the first childhood collection that I found and I will upload the second one tomorrow :wink:

This is a really cool and one of the best childhood lots I have found. Bought it from an old man, he told me his son was 41 and have not used it since the 80s. Most of the figures looks like new, when I cleaned them many of the arms and legs was so stiff so I think they have never been moved :shock: :shock: But a few of them have been played with and that is the rare ones and off course broken :roll: why could he not have played with the not so rare figures. To my next big surprise there was a lot of extra weapons :shock:

Ok so far I can see farmer luke is a POCH and he looks awesome nice but to my big surprise I think he have lost his head it looks like it is glued back on

Both Biker Scouts are meccano, one have lost his head, looks like it has been glued back on and lost again :roll: The other one is nice

Chewbacca looks like he is a PBP.

Death star Droid is a meccano and has only a little damage on one foot and a little on the back :shock:

Luke Bespin is a PBP.

Hoth Stormtrooper is a meccano.

I am not 100% sure but I think both Imperial commanders is PBP

and a PBP metallic blue blaster, very cool 8)
