Great things to find

Yeah my Mum & Dad have just moved house and I spent a couple of hours up their loft looking for a Tri-logo Yak Face cardback and a photo of me stood next to my AT-AT Christmas Day 1986. Was a complete waste of time. :lol:

A friend of mine have found a danish childhood lot 2 weeks ago. There was a lili ledy falcon in the lot that the sellers dad bought in mexico when he was there to see vm in 1986, I think that is a cool story 8)

Picture is their somewhere just can't find it at the moment. :roll:

The Yak Face cardback is a mistery as I know for sure I saved it as a kid and had it up to at least the mid to late 90's.

If I find either I'll post them on here for sure.

I too have a mystery lost item that I would swear is still amongst my mum's stuff somewhere and is the last remaining item from my childhood SW stuff: a single capsule from a Chewie bandolier absolutely stuffed full with weapons. I remember having difficulty closing the darned thing. It only turned up after I had given away the last of my figures. I thought they were still cool so stuck it in a draw. Unfortunately, that was 25 years ago (or so). Not seen it since but I know I never thew it away/sold it so it's still there.....somewhere!

Today I picked up a huge childhood lot from a guy in denmark. He told me he and his dad bought most of it in the uk :shock: and in 84 he thought he was to old for this. So it has been laying at the loft since 84

I will update soon with pictures of the lot

Ok here are the first pictures of some of the items from the new loft find. I will take more pictures very soon

I do not know anything about those diecast, I have never collected them or had one in my hand before today :lol:

Ok here is the next pictures from the new childhood lot. I can really see that he got most of his figures in the uk. He told me in the beginning there was no star wars toy in denmark. This is the first time I have found the first R2-D2 and C-3PO with NOT removeable arms and legs in a danish childhood collection. I don't think they were ever sold in denmark or maybe only a few came to denmark.

Leia and luke there is some yellow on them, solo and boba have some paint damage but the rest looks very beautiful, many mint with stiff arms and legs + many weapons for them

Wow; most of those die casts are mint. I bet the Star Destroyer even has its little corvette in the docking bay. And those figures look superb too. Great find, Lars.

Ok here is some more pictures of my new danish childhood lot, a lot of unused stickers, that I do not know what is for :?

a lot of trading cards and some badges

and a star wars bag that he also bought in the uk, never seen it before :shock: He told me he also had a red bag but he used it in school for
gymnastic cloth and later broken and thrown out.

and some more figures, many mint with stiff arms and legs + weapons, also found the blaster for the tie fighter pilot from another picture

Yes the corvette is still there inside the star destroyer there is also a torpedo under the y-wing

Wow! Those vehicles are like brand new. Newer than new! The X-Wing is minty white and the Falcon is equally gorgeous.
