Funny me too, I also grew up with westerns and war movies  So what do you like most Spaghetti Westerns or Westerns ?

I can say that the White Tiger movie is awesome  Not like in the old days where they made war movies with us tanks that should look like german or russian tanks

Some weeks ago, I also saw Tobruk, still a great movie but sometimes it can be annoying to see us vehicles and tanks that should have been german or italians

Found a few more pictures from White Tiger

A few of my favourites are :
The good the bad and the ugly, once apoon a time in the west, for a few dollars more, my name is nobody and fist full of dynamite. All Sergio Leone classics that I always can watch without tiring of them.
Of the war movies :
Platoon, Born on the 4th July, Jarhead, das boot, for tank battles thought Fury was interesting.
For hammering home how brutal things are in war.
Saving private Ryan, The killing fields, The Pacific and hamburger hill.
Just a few of mine coming to mind but there is a long list.

Ok thanks I will check those out :D i never watched the original django movie, the new one has some pretty brutal scenes. I suppose it's to be expected with tarantino!

I was never a fan of Hamburger Hill. I found it a real let down. Gotta agree on the others though. I'd add Band of Brothers and Full Metal Jacket.

Band of Brothers is very similar to the Pacific. I think the Pacific was made after the success of Band of Brothers. They follow a similar format in that they tell the story through the eyes of various combatants. It's definitely worth watching. I actually preferred it to the Pacific.

I despise Meryl Streep, for no apparent reason, but my hatred of her is so much that I can't bring myself to watch any film she is in. I've only seen bits of the Deer Hunter. The Russian Roulette scene is one of the best in cinema.

The first Django movie was with Franco Nero from 1966, I think Franco Nero was awesome in the Spaghetti Westerns I have seen with him.

But I have also seen A Few Dollars for Django, He Who Shoots First, 10,000 Dollars for a Massacre and Django Kills Softly. I think they all are really good. I am not sure but I think there is 30 Django movies today

Do you know the Sartana movies ? I have seen some of them, really good movies 8)
