Probably on my list too. Don't stay at a campsite called Hadrian's Wall campsite al Melkridge. The guy is a miserable old bastard and it's about 2 mile from the wall anyway. Winshields campsite is fine, the guy is also a miserable old bastard, but not as bad. If you're b and bing then the pub at Twice Brewed is canny. All places are about 2 miles West of Housesteads Fort and are near the 'Robin Hood Tree' from Prince of thieves.
I put them all in party bags once - only fair to share the miseryCurrently reading "Juggernaut" by Adam Baker, the second in a series of four books about a zombie apocalypse caused by some virus thing that turns people into metallic zombies. Needless to say it's based on real events.
If you like zombie books, it's pretty good. The four books are set in the same universe but not really linked/related as such, so you can read them in any order (like I did). They describe various stages of the collapse of life as we know it.
For an avoid misanthrope like me, it's great.
I've also read all the Mr Men books, seventeen times. But I don't think that's what this thread was resurrected for.
The Dandy can't beat a bit of Desperate Dan lol.Currently reading Dandy in the underworld about Sebastian Horsley......it's a decent read but ****ed up![]()
