That is absolutely superb! It's amazing just what a brilliant job you are doing with this. You've built this to movie prop standard and it isn't even finished yet. By the time it is finally complete you will have made one of the best Star Wars customs ever! No praise I can give you will do this justice, it's simply excellent!
That is simply amazing, your attention to detail has to be commended, also your skills for what has been done so far. This really is an amazing piece so far.
Now on with the sails and masts. Bought some brass parts to bend them like I need them:

Added to the masts:
Dyeing some fabric (pictured with paper pattern). I searched long for a thin and proper cotton fabric to use. I also did some experiments on aging that sails. They were treated with water plus joiner's glue to make them stiffer.
Going into detail:
First test on the ship:
Masking and "when spraying goes wrong"....
I have found a solution to it now. But it takes a lot of time. i had to remove the brass bars and wash it with acetone. I needed 5-6 hours to fiy this mess....done for now.. :/
I know this isn't anywhere near as cool as yours but hopefully it's no too annoying - http://news.toyark.com/2018/02/17/toy-fair-2018-hasbro-star-wars-hasbro-lab-jabbas-barge-288609
I guess it had to happen at some point but your works has been beyond amazing and I can't wait to see it in all it's glory!
Unfortunately, if the crowd-funded Hasbro one gets made (assuming they reach their target of 5000 backers paying $500 each), it is currently only available to customers in the US, screwing Star Wars fans in the rest of the world (see 'Where do you ship to?' in the FAQ at the bottom of the page here: https://www.hasbrolab.com/)... Bloody typical!
I completely agree. Wolff's is vastly superior and a work of tremendous talent and dedication. Sadly though, I will never own Wolff's amazing creation, so it would be nice to have a crack at owning Hasbro's instead.
