This place has changed DRAMATICALLY over the last couple of years, we had an inactive Edd, inactive moderators, a smaller forum with less members and then to top it all off one day Han guessed Ron's "starwars" password and banned us all..lol that really was a right old mess because he ****ed the forum up and created a lot of bad feeling because there was no one around to sort out the mess for a while, people were being put forward to join the mod team to help out and that never happened either so as you might imagine people starting saying "well **** this then".
As one of the many people who helped Jay set TIG up, I can safely say it really wasn't totally born out of a hatred of SWF but it did quickly become the best alternative to SWF, especially as this place was pretty much ghost town everyone found jumping ship rather easy to do.
Since those dark days..SWF has come on leaps and bounds! Especially in the last few years, people are still signing up thick and fast and the current regulars (many of them only registering a year or two ago) make the place a busy and active forum to be a part of. I think it's great and I have to say even if I felt SWF was going down the shitter at one point I am glad to see this place thriving now. The bad feeling that was once there for SWF only ever came about because members didn't enjoy seeing it go downhill!
