I am a bit unsure on the Xwing, I thought the ESB ones had 'Battle Damage' but this has not, I have lost track of which of my Xwings came with this box, but it was a car boot sale buy so who knows if the right was was even there in the first place!! Thanks anyway

I also have a X-Wing ESB Palitoy box just like you have. But mine have battle damage on the box. But the one you have does not have any battle damage on it, very cool :shock:

Pomse, I have wondered why this one is not battle-damaged like the others I see. I would guess it was just released earlier, not sure if it any rarer though. Would be nice to know if I have the correct X-wing with it or are all the Palitoy X-wings the same?

Yes, you have the right X-Wing. This is the only ESB-version that has no battle damaged decals. It is known as the 30-back version as it was supposedly in the shops during that run. It's pretty rare!

Inserts are a dime a dozen. Instructions near impossible to find.

I'm a big supporter of hanging onto the battle-weathered figures of our collective youth as well. I unearthed my childhood collection of loosies not long ago with the intention of finishing the job my Dad started when I was smaller. It's the best feeling.
