It looks like i'm going to have to be selling this collection so i thought i'd do an update. The last one was in 2015 so a few things have changed. Taking new photos of them has made me realise exactly how much i have become attached to them and how much i love them, but needs must.

34 years in the making (7 years for the most of it), but i'm well happy with this lot.

I hope you enjoy this collection. I have enjoyed collecting it. I may be down but i'm not out. I'm keeping the loose figures and a couple of other bits. One day i'll have the space and money to start all over again, and i'm kinda excited about that!

Photo 36 Special Slide!
I love this Kim Simmons slide which i bought from Tom Derby. It's the slide used for the cardback image. It's difficult to take a decent photo so i got Luke to help me out. Notice the different handwriting on the slide, which was added when Kenner catalogued the collection after the name A New Hope was added.

Thanks very much guys. I am really pleased with it.

Apart from trying to get my hands on a nice loose Blue Snaggletooth and a Vinyl Jawa (and maybe get a better max rebo) i'm thinking it may be nearly complete. Which i'm a bit disappointed with as i have enjoyed the collecting.

Maybe you guys could suggest where i take it from here? :?:

I see loads of you collect carded figures, maybe that's the natural progression.

Superb collection Jez. Figures look in great condition too. You could always take the route of collecting variants and foreign figures. There are plenty of those to keep you busy before you need to worry about carded figures

Thanks Iain. I know, look what has happened, I bet you saw that coming a mile off!
My lad still doesn't do too bad, he still has his own rebel transporter filled with about 20 beaters. Constantly bugs me though "Dad can you get out the Rancor, Dad can you get out the Hoth Wampa!".
Even as a 6 year old though he appreciates my Last 17 and Blue Snaggletooth, he shows all his little mates and tells them not to touch!
I need more MOCs now!

Congrats Jez- awesome looking collection! How long have you been putting these together for? Good luck on the moc hunt- are you going for any figure on any card or sticking to sw on sw esb on esb etc?
What's your grail moc then dude? When I started I wanted a potf Luke stormtrooper....
