My 6th from students have now left and a few of them got together and got me what is probably the most amazing collection of presents I've ever got. 8)

A star wars designed 'Thank You' card, A Star Wars lightsaber wall light, a death star chopping board (I told them I liked cooking) Plus a massive Indian cook book (I had said it was my favourite food, plus they are all from the Indian subcontinent) and big box of Indian sweets and it was all wrapped up in Star Wars Lego wrapping paper!

And if that wasn't enough they got me 2 tickets to the Dr Who experience...which came wrapped up in Dr Who wrapping paper!

I was understandably speechless at the sheer generosity, but the thought that went into these presents is just staggering! :D

Back in my day it was just an apple  Great to hear something good about school children these days instead of the usual horror stories that are printed in the media :D

Couple of my mates are teachers and they get literally dozens of boxes of chocolates (or the like), sounds great at first but after time it quickly becomes a case of sharing or growing! This however is so thoughtful - you must have really made an impression on them :)

Very thoughtful and touching, you clearly had a positive impact on them :)

Awesome gifts man, beats an apple any day, all tho I wouldn't eat the sweets just incase lol... you never know they could filled with Turbo Lax. 8)

It's nice that the students obviously respect that you are into Star Wars. A very thoughtful gift :)

That's awesome mate 8) as others have said, they obviously know you well and respect you. It's things like this that can ground you and pick you up at the same time. Always means such a lot when they've clearly put loads of thought into it :)

It was just so thoughtful and clearly quite expensive. I mean two tickets to see the Dr Who experience!!

Absolutely everything was perfectly bought to fit me. And this is from Kids I teach 3 times a fortnight!

I've been doing this job for 20 years and even after that amount of time kids can do things that are beyond words.

It's just unreal!!

You must have been blown away Gary as they have really took their time in thinking about this & putting the effort in to make it something special for you, whatever you're doing for them, keep on doing it as it obviously has the desired effect, both for them & for you.

Chuffed for you

Awesome stuff Gary. I want to be in you class!

And before anyone edits my post, i said CLASS!

Cheers guys.

And yes I love Gulab Juman!

This is a box full of different types!! 8)
