Is this a new ceiling price for a loose vinyl cape Jawa?

it would be great to have a thread showing all the screwups afa have made , so called experts my ass

You will be glad to know their is! - http://www.starwarsforum.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=5371&hilit=AFa+Mistakes :D

I watched both of those VCJ and could not believe it. I paid £450 for mine but no way I'm tempted to sell my little vinyl fella... not until they hit £1500 anyway!

Absolutely shocking  I'd expect an AFA 90 to maybe go for that price but certainly not a UKG 85 :!:
I sold an AFA 85 example with auth cert etc 3-4 years ago for £600 odd and I thought that was a fair bit then :!:

I hate to see the incarceration of figures but like anything there's people looking to make money out of our hobby ( this probably trebles the value) and I suppose some folk want peace of mind. Just wish I could get a reasonably priced VCJ before they're all entombed.

The bandwagon seems to already be rolling http://forum.rebelscum.com/t1115737/ :?

Yeah I saw that, I think there is another one that wants insane money for too. I find it slightly depressing that so many in this hobby are out for no one but themselves and they don' t care if they trample over people.

that's a cracker I always wanted to have my authenticated by tom derby himself, but other things in life got in the way

but at least they went to good homes and not even close to that price

This is going nuts, they were £350-£400 not long back.
Same's happening with the only other loose figure I'm missing, Tig Fromm, was only around £100 now seems to be £150 each time on eBay!

About right if this is the price of a MOC one.

Is that what people really thing this figure is worth? :o

It's all got a bit out of hand and I think there are going to be a fair few sellers left with items due to the amount they are trying to get for them. There are so many Palitoy 30 backs on ebay at the moment that just aren't shifting. I know this may well be to do with what happened recently with the seller on here but it does show that people really don't want to pay those kinds of prices. I'm thinking this recent price raise isn't far off collapsing (well we can all live in hope :) )

I know what your saying and agree, but just look how many people have joined this forum recently. I think it's a sign of how many more people are joining the hobby in general, which is affecting supply and demand. :?
