i have new moc (a beater at that) i think im being paranoid  but the bottom of the seal i think it may have been glued down (cant see any residue though) the seal does have a waffle pattern all around i cant see no visible tears underneath the bubble as such. but at the bottom of the seal there looks like a gap im wondering if the bottom corner has come away and stuck back down, you can see jagged stress marks around the right corner to the middle it could be that the card is beat up and bent i guess. any thoughts? cheers boys

The waffle pattern is one good indicater for a MOC collector that the MOC is legit. As far as I know no one who reproduces MOC's has managed to 'fake' the waffle pattern. Buuuuut, some legit MOC's do have what is called a 'slick seal' as well where there is no waffle pattern present. I have an ESB Vader with the slick seal but the rest of my cards have the waffle pattern.

Thanks, you've answered my next question as well, was wondering if the scammers had found a way to do the waffle pattern. :)

I would imagine its not too hard to fake a heat waffle pattern or even a glue pattern given the correct tools. It always baffles me why no ones bothered if this is the one of the marks of a genuine MOC, its hardly splitting the atom.
