I'm just not sure what actually is going on at RS in some of the threads at the moment.

I also thought it was surprising that the pink/red discolouration was left out of the original description and that the buyer had a right to feel a bit pissed off.

You where the only one on RS that made a comment that correctly and politely pointed out that the buyer may have been in the right. I mean really, if I had a figure with pink discoloration such as a luke stormie I might want to point it out as it is not the same as subtle yellowing in no way....but they keep ranting on about this guys personal problems trying to avoid actually telling their buddy that he obviously avoided telling the guy about the PINK discoloration. I have not commented over there as I would be booted Immediately from their forum. :lol: :wink:

I actually have sold to Michael Vogt in the past and he was a great guy to deal with, I think however this time he handled things a bit awkwardly, it didn't look like he was going to refund in that message he sent yet he then said he was going to and there was no need to post int he watch out section.

It would suck a bit to get a PM after selling something and be asked to refund and have the item sent back but thats the risk you take dealing with people, I would rather refund and sell it twice than get in a rant with someone either privately or publicly.

I have actually been the buyer on a deal where a partial refund was given and in my eyes the seller went up 10 points for not turning round and saying, stuff it up your ass.

Yes after I read the description the guy gave him of the figure and seen what he received...I figured it was obvious he held back on some of the faults of the figure........but 20 paragraphs later...he is obviously the one at fault because he whines too much. :wink:

I have spent a fair bit of time just look on RS- Im glad I have nothing to do with the place. I know some of you decent guys post over there but I think of the comic book guy from simpsons when I think of a typical "RS" member......
The whole thing about the inner circle and talking about members in a hidden forum is vile. It reminds me of being back at school.
I agree- the seller is at fault. However the buyer should have accepted the discount. Oh well :roll:

He didn't misrepresent the figure though - he described the figure as 85% white.

This is technically correct.

The other 15% are just yellowed :shock: or pink :shock: :shock: :?
