Have you been to watch it yet?

Nah not yet, i'm not rushing out to see this one in the cinema this time i'm gonna just wait for the blu-ray, iv'e heard it's a pretty average film so i'm not that excited about it. I did however notice a tiny clip on youtube of him hanging dice up in his speeder when I was watching a non-spoiler review.

No worries, what I would say if you enjoyed R1 or TFA then I think you should give Solo a go. TLJ for me was a load of wank but I took a chance with Solo and will be going again this week. I absolutely loved it because it was Han, Chewie and the Falcon in action they were always my favourite.

I'm still feeling optimistic with it to be fair because I actually do love every Star Wars film that's been released anyway, including the prequels, so I know i'm gonna love Solo and like you say there's Han, Chewie the Falcon in it's early days which will be interesting to see, and also Lando. Just not gonna bother with the cinema this time but will be pre-ordering the bluray, even with R1 I didn't bother seeing it at the cinema I was gonna wait for the bluray, until my brother told me it was the best ending to any Star wars film he'd ever seen, and then I raced out to a cinema to watch it.

Go on, give it a go.
As Yoda said it's Han, Chewie and the Falcon, it don't get better than that.
I'm going week after next, and have pre ordered the Blu-ray, what a time to be a Star Wars fan!

It is a great time to be a fan, i'd personally be happy if a new film was released every 2 months, I just can't get enough Star Wars.

But with this release i'll give the cinema a pass, I reckon maybe it's mostly because TLJ event was literally only less than 6 months ago, and it really is a special event when me and my brothers & dad go to see one, we pay for gold class seats in a private room where no kids are allowed, with reclining chairs and drinks servers who go and fetch you a drink from the bar if you want one and bring it to your seat. 8)

So when we go and see SW we've now been making a special occasion of it at least once a year since TFA, if we were to force ourselves to go again less than 6 months later I think that kind of takes the 'special' away from it, we like to save it.

That makes perfect sense, totally understand.
What cinema offers that level of ungrades?
We only have an Odean near us and the best upgrade there is more leg room and a slightly less filthy seat!

It's a Vue cinema, if you can get to one it's well worth it, they have your normal cinema rooms with filthy seats haha, and shared arm rests, 100 cramped seats full of kids etc. But I think every Vue has several 'gold class' rooms with only something like 40 seats nicely spaced apart, age 18 plus only which needs ID because of the drinks bar, so you're guaranteed to not have annoying loud kids in there, the seats are all leather too with electronic controls for recline and a raising foot rest. You'll spend about £4 or £5 more for it but it's worth every penny. :)

There's also a gold class room without a drinks bar too if you wanted to go with your kids.

Thanks,
I'll see if there's one around here.

Well I did it, I went and watched Solo 2 days ago, couldn't help myself.

Really loved it, decided to go for 3D with this one too which was a good choice, the action scenes on the train, space chases/battles, seeing lightspeed from inside the cockpit view was all just great to see in 3D. Noticed the obvious inclusion of Han's dice, but like a couple of reviewers on youtube have noted there's no mention of any importance to the dice, they're passed from Han to Kira, from Kira to Han, hung up here & there in different craft and nobody knows why, especially if you're new to Star Wars, it seems really random. One thing though was I always assumed Han got hold of the dice when he won the Falcon from Lando as they were already hanging in the cockpit ( can't remember where I heard that ), yet Han already was already hanging them up in a stolen speeder years before he even met Lando, confused... :?:

But, this is all just nit picking, it's a great film.
