STRIKEMEDOWN
Padawan
I was thinking about going to this on Sunday. I've never been to a toy fair before so I'm not sure what to expect. It looks well established but i was wondering if anyone has been before or is going to this and has any adivice?
You mean the best place in the world? Yeah I've been here most of my life, how about you?I'm not going but wouldn't mind going one day. It's about 2 hours for me. Let me know if you go and what it's like. Are you from Cornwall @STRIKEMEDOWN
I grew up in west Cornwall and moved away in 2009. Go back often, my parents still live near PZ.You mean the best place in the world? Yeah I've been here most of my life, how about you?
I have friends that way. I’m up in Newquay normally but living away from home while I’m at Uni.I grew up in west Cornwall and moved away in 2009. Go back often, my parents still live near PZ.
I did end up going today. The fair was quite small, so probably a good one for me to have started off at, mostly trains and car models but there were a couple people selling Lego Star Wars Minifigures and a few action figures. I bought a couple 'The Art Of' books (Episode 1 and 2) from a guy with a shop in Plymouth and called it a day. One guy was selling a collectors series han and luke in stormtrooper armour which I loved but couldn't afford. all in all, had a few nice conversations and got a name on the list of shops to visit!I'm not going but wouldn't mind going one day. I don't think so, I didn't catch his name when I was there, but his business card says Graham Baker. His shop is called The Tusken Trader and he said he's down by the Barbican.Nice! Was that Julian the guy from Plymouth?
