Internet on PS3 through PC wired connection HEEEEELP!!!!

I have my PS3 connected to my PC with a ethernet cable, and I'm trying to get it to connect to the internet through my pc,
but no such luck yet, this is driving me mad!
I've gone into network and sharing center, properties of the preferred connection, shared and all, but still no luck....
Any quick fixes for this?
Oh and I don't have a router to connect to, I'm tapping bandwidth from my neighbour....
The internet connection from my PC is wireless..

Help me swfukers, you're my only hope!

Have you checked to see if the firewall is preventing the ps3 from accessing the internet connection?

Thanks mate, just found out what was wrong....
I need a "cross TP" cable as I only have one ethernet port on the PC...

And I had one of those cables, I had just fiddled with the connections properties and done something wrong...
All working now...
