I like price stickers as they say a bit of something about the card's origins. This massive red clearance sticker is a bit anonymous though, unless of course the collector knew of the shop. Bit of a novelty for someone I guess.

It looks to me like it's linked to the red price sticker above it, so is probably specific to the store. Maybe 'Red Tag' is a bit like the 'Blue Cross' sales we have here?

Red tag is still a term used widely in the usa for clearance items. Not sure of it's origin, but "red-tagged" most commonly refers to a property that has been severely damaged to the degree that it is too dangerous to inhabit. So assuming that there is a link
