For what its worth, as far as I am concerned it is his film and he can do what the hell he likes with it -if people dont like the changes then dont buy it

He can do what he wants, but he should re-release the originals too

He is the original copyright owner so he can change them, but he should as others have said release the original versions, not least because of his 80s rant. But in no way should they films be left to the fans as some of the ideas and concepts I've read are absymal.
