Does anyone know a good company that i can insure my collection with?

I have had no help yet as companies say they cant value it, eventhough i have given them an itemised list with values.

Depends who you are with but you will probably find that your normal contents insurance will cover it. Just make sure your contents insurance covers the cost of your collection plus any other items in your house.

I am with nationwide. They cover the collection without having to declare every single item. You may be asked to produce pics, a list, and receipts to make a claim though. In some cases you may need to declare single items over a certain value. For example 2000- 3000 pounds.

Chris .

Just keep detailed records of what you have, like chris says your home contents will cover items up to a certain value, say £2000 for a single item max

use this home inventory software to store images, recipts and value of your collection to provide the insurance company, its free, once its populated its a bloody good bit of software

Vectis offer free valuations if you can get to any of the toy fairs they attend.
- you can use this as a basis for cover if your insurance company require any
independent valuations.
