Congrats with the sales, and you came across really well on Breakfast Good luck with the house purchase too.

The Movie Store didn't come across so well though, as has been mentioned. Saying "Yeah, the loose stuff is worth almost nothing" immediately after a shot of figures with £10 and £20 stickers attached to them was bizarre, and it's a shame they didn't focus on what it was that made the Fett MOC so desirable.

Did anyone else notice the numpty from 'The Cinema Store' also picked up a modern Ackbar saying it was from 1977.

He was the one that wanted £250 for POTF C3PO and £250 for a POTF Darth Vader when I popped in last year. Would budge on price as well.

Thanks for all of the positive comments. I’m obviously very pleased with the result of the auction. The media coverage cannot be bad either in raising my profile as a fan. One slight disappointment was that I didn’t get to meet any of the bidders at the auction. I had my giant Star Wars scrapbook with me, which is chock full of rare items. It would be great to meet some of you guys at the February auction.

Okay, I got some inevitable comments about my rock singer persona. I’m going to hold on to my long hair as long as possible, although with 45 on the horizon my mop is becoming thinner than ever. Everyone knows me with my long hair and it makes me an individual. People wouldn’t recognise me without it!

The February auction isn’t far away. I’m hoping for as good a result as the first one.
