I wonder what I will find at the local car boot sale this year?

It was worth putting up with the hoards of strange people, pungent smells of body oder and oh god damn it the bloody dogs running around. What posses people to allow their little fluff balls of poop to roam around unattended, even the little kids roaming around exhibited better behaviour :lol:

A lot of very very rude aggressive people ready to lynch you should you find something good before they have spotted it, maybe worth a thread of its own :shock:

Nice finds for sure. Good to find vintage at carboots, does happen sometimes! I know what you mean about aggressive people. Carboots near me are bad for people wanting games, lego etc.

Not a car boot but local to me shop

I'm collecting MOTU with my son so picked up the Evil Lyn and Grizzlor from the guy in the shop, he knows I collect vintage SW and said he had a bag of bits so he would do a tenner for the MOTU and SW bits so picked them all up for a tenner!
Probably the SW bits will end up in a drawer though as I can't be bothered trying to complete them!

Car boot was cancelled again due to rain. Probably be no more this year. The local Toy Fair was on though. Not very good for Star Wars found these 3. Chewie is a PBP.

Nothing but then I havnt been to a boot sale for a while. How's your 12 backs. I am gutted I didn't pick up that biker scout blaster at echo but still went to a good home.

I did go to the Bath & West toy show last weekend which one seller had a lot of vintage SW there. There were a lot of complete loose figures and mocs and also boxed vehicles like the Falcon. Nothing really for me that I'm looking for but I did manage to complete my childhood BA with finding his tool kit and I also bought a couple of Thundercats loose figures that were at a reasonable price as well as picking up some Turtles for my lad who came with me and had a great time.

It's been a few years since I've been to this collectors fair and although there's always a lot of Dinky and Trains at these sort of shows there was a fair bit of vintage that was nice to see but nothing that I was really after.
