I wonder what I will find at the local car boot sale this year?

Finally was able to get to my local one today before It rained. Got a few deals today, only paid $0.50 for the Rambo moc.

Went to my local one this morning.

Someone had 3 vintage incomplete figures and wanted £15 for the each :roll: a Jawa, yoda, darth Vader

I also saw some sort of flat pack cardboard cutout Cinema Display for the force awakens, the bloke wanted £100 for it

Plenty of modern figures and Lego about though but I'm not into that

Some bloke who said he was a toy dealer tells me he has a box full of hundreds of vintage Star Wars figures all £3 each so he takes this big plastic crate out of his car and there all modern apart from 3 beaters I found which were an emporer, chief chirpa and logray but they were in such bad condition I passed and the guy was like 'oh are you not buying any then after all that?' I just laughed and walked off.

Was going through another box of junk and found swatch watch thinking it would be 50p or a £1 and lady was like yeah that's £20! Again I just laughed and walked off

Oh dear not good, sorry you had no luck, getting that way more and more now sadly, some "dealer" at the one I sometimes go to on bank holiday says oh yes I have loads its all AOTC onwards rubbish for stupid prices. Good luck hunting on Sunday.

That's the problem I'm afraid, went to a car boot the other week and some people just want full retail for their tat. I was looking for a chainsaw and saw one that clearly needed work to tidy it up, the guy wanted 130 quid for it, needless to say I walked away laughing :lol:

Also someone was selling these two ships for £25 each but they were missing a lot of the bits so I passed on those.

Someone selling a lot of antiques had 4 beaters in a bag marked £25 which again I passed on those at that crazy price

Great thread this. Check in regularly, love seeing the old car boot fare, some great pick ups along the way as well, might even try a car boot this weekend
