Many people looking for the same stuff, unfortunately some of them are just looking to make money from it, rather than the love of the item.

I was racing sunday, so only got to a boot sale on Saturday

The cat was not purchased at the boot sale :wink:

There was a guy with a couple of vintage beaters, in a bundle with a bunch of modern tat, some wierdy 3 3/4 statuette things, wanted £20 for the lot. Had heard him complaining to someone that no one wants to pay the prices he's selling at at a boot sale... that's the point of a boot sale, you're not there to pay top dollar auction prices!!!

Not a vintage one, last year picked up the massive legacy collection one, have picked up 2 Endor walkers in the last few weeks. Walker was £10 that I picked up today.

Wow thats a great price mate. I have to wait until Saturday now before i can have a walk around my next boot sale. So many people are looking for the same stuff now.

True they are, I go so early wish i didn't have to but got no choice. Got most items from the same stall, MF £20, ATAT £10, £15 for Lumat, 3 AF and ATST.

£5.50 For the 3 modern figures and the X-wing, tins £1.00 each, £6 for the ROTJ figures and tin, £2 for BF rifle.

Hi guys, how did everyone get on yesterday? Made a massive mistake my mate asked if I would volunteer at the comic con/toy fair he was running. Agreed thinking usually more to find at a toy fair then a car boot but boy was I wrong. Don't get me wrong the turn out was massive, the displays were great and there was some nice things to buy but not one single stall had anything vintage. One stall had a large selection of Star Wars but was all modern black series etc and very expensive. Others were pictures, comics etc. One stall had a large selection of toys but only SW was a bag for £20! of POTF 2 Figures all incomplete though no chance. Only things I bought was the Die from Solo and the ecto popper. At the car boot my mate text me saying there was a stall full of Star Wars think it was mainly modern so not to bothered. But one stall had a palitoy Radio controlled R2D2, with box and remote £40 also had a slave 1 and die cast Y-Wing and MF. He sent me a photo of the R2D2, asked him to go a buy me it, thank god it was still there.

I stood a car boot on Sunday, had a quick mooch around but nothing caught my eye, plus I am broke, just had to buy a new car :lol:

Off on my hols soon so will see what the car boots of Dorset have to offer 8)

I've been too busy the last week, volunteering on a cycle sportive (had to drive past a boot sale to get to my feed station), on a course, had free tickets to see Roger Waters, and BMX racing, then am up to Newcastle for a couple of days, so will miss the midweek one!!

I'm getting withdrawal!!

hopefully at the weekend I'll be back on it.

I am very happy with today's boot sale finds. I don't normally collect modern items but I couldn't pass these up. A modern jawa sandcrawler £8 would look great for dioramas and I can't remember seeing one of these before. And the 2002 star tours vehicle £4 all electronics and LED's work.

I think the sandcrawler is missing some parts but I doubt I will ever find them.

Any one else have any luck today.

Same seller who had the Landspeeder had a scout walker but was £10 all bits missing and the chin gun was snapped, also a Rebel Troop Transporter but missing back guns and floor hatch and had enough of them.

Didnt catch his name, he did have a few toys, had an AT-ST but got one already, nice bloke and knocked a few quid off

Was an impressive carboot, got some breweriana as well for my mancave/pub 8)

It was packed as well :shock:

We were stopping at a campsite at Withernsea and had a cracking week, nice part of the country you live in 8)

Yep thats Roland agree a real nice guy, good friend of mine, they were the bits he offered me last week. Talk about a small world lol, will see him tomorrow. Yes ago he use to have a toy museum it was amazing. Do miss it.
