Great price for the ATAT scruffylooking i would be really happy with that.

And nice rebel transport i think i would have picked it up aswell for £15.

Scruffy, brilliant on the AT-AT as for me not a bad morning, got myself a lap counter for a TCR, a data cassette recorder for an Acorn Electron. A mixture of vintage Matchbox and Airfix 1:32 scale soldiers including the Zulu's which I have never seen but best of all. Power of the Force Tie Fighter.
I don't do modern but as it's from the original mounds I couldn't say no.
I also couldn't resist the series one of Buck Rogers on DVD

Bosk70 if you want to sell the buck rogers ship you got yesterday I'd be interested.

Sorry Sabreman I have a bit of a Buck Rogers fetish anything with Erin Grey in a skin tight jumpsuit gets my vote, did the conversion on a beater corgi BR ship where you take out the support between the guns and re-spray came out nice will post a pic soon :) Love the track counter with the IDEAL brand mark, I always love the randomness of finds at boot sales :)

No worries mate, I love Buck Rogers but never collected it, I picked two annuals up several weeks ago so might start to track some of the vintage toys down

Love this thread so much. It's like all the things I would love to see in a collectibles shop if I walked in. And at the prices I'd like to see them at, too! I think you did OK on the transporter for £15. It's just nice to find vintage at a car boot and makes it hard to leave. Like the lightsabre as well, looks good.

Love the Acorn cassette deck and the TCR track counter too. Nice to find that boxed. Always look at the Airfix soldiers because I remember them so well. Got about 100 stashed away somewhere. Really must dig them out. I would have probably bought that Tie, too :) I don't mind the POTF II stuff anymore, as long as it's priced accordingly. My mum actually got her first vintage find the other week: 5 Jabba goons (necked, of course), 3 x POTFII figures and a couple of incomplete POTFII speeder bikes for 50p an item. Fair play at that price, I say :)

I think nowadays just seeing vintage at a boot sale does it for me. Not just getting a good deal sometimes I do. But just finding it in the wild is great that wye i love this thread. And understand wye starwarsfan would create.

But i didn't find anything today.

I have always loved the TCR, I never had one but my mate did, I had a scalextric. I couldn't resist the lap counter, I paid £2 for it, when I opened the box to look at it, it says made in the UK 1981 so that was it I had to have it. Do we actually make toys in this country anymore.
My main focus is Vintage Star Wars but anything that takes my fancy ATM I can't resist, it isn't just Vintage Star Wars that takes me back to my childhood.

Always next week mate, that is the beauty of carbooting, you really never know what your gonna come across. Last week I got a backend for a Raleigh Chopper, this week a lap counter for a TCR amongst other things.
I also love this thread, it's fantastic what some of us come across, it is also good to share knowledge as even tho this is a Vintage Star Wars forum so many of us have collections of other vintage stuff.
Sadly it's becoming harder and harder to find stuff but it makes it so much sweeter when you do.

I got to my local one at 830 this morning

Plenty of stalls and not many punters so I thought I'm in with a good chance.

Lots of modern Star Wars mainly episode 1 crap, some 80s Barbie dolls which I know nothing about.

That same stall with the bloke who wants a fiver for a ropey looking ree yees

In the end I found a chief chirpa without weapon in s box of crap for 50p and some 1970s bang and olufsen speakers for £2

I still think I need to get there earlier

Nice finds better then me, today it was big but just a load of crap, one ****ing seller said he would save me something so went back about 10 minutes later and it was gone arse hole. Also had one of the local dealers there with his son and they are both a couple of wankers always been so rude and winding people up hopefully someone will smash their faces in one day. vintage wise nothing Star Wars. Some force awakes and episode one crap. Number of Lego sets but I don't really do lego. Got the picture for £10, the R2D2 50p, Ghostbusters car for £2.00, the badge was a freebie. Will post some pictures later. All-in-all a waste of time and them two arseholes made it 10x worse!!!!!!!!!!
