Doncaster Toy fair in 8 days can't wait :D
Will there be much vintage? It's a bit of a trek for me, but wanted to take my eldest lad..as we missed the bingley hall.

Over the years I've found some pretty unique things on the car boots where I live.
My best find was a 1950's fighter pilot helmet which I paid £12 for, sold it to some German on fleebay for £500.
Last year found a weird looking military gun scope, paid £25. After hour's of research found it was off an Israeli rocket launcher!!!! Sold that on fleebay for £100.
I love car boots, it the not knowing what you might find

there is a big one near me in Denham, its massive! takes about 4 hours to walk around the whole place.

the first time I went a bloke was selling a full vintage samurai outfit with everything except the sword, it looked really cool and he wanted £75 I passed as I had very little money at the time but would have liked to have bought that

mark lammar is a regular usually buying records, he's looking really old now, I wonder why he's no longer on tv?

Nice one well done.

Picked up, Resident Evil and Resident Evil 2 for £1 each both in really great condition.

Best thing I ever found at a carboot about 8 years back was a boxed and complete Commodore 64, the box was in near mint condition with all cables, cost me £4 :) at the time I think it was worth around £30+, was very surprised to spot it too as this was half way into the carboot hours and nobody else bought it.

Second best thing I ever found at around 2002 was the Star Wars OT on DVD for £5, copies obviously but because they weren't available on DVD at that time I was ecstatic.

I had no luck today. Not a single piece of Star Wars and barely anyone showed up due to the cold. Hopefully next month will be better.

Got these today. Not done a car boot for years. Not exactly 20p, but a few quid each was worth the rescue effort.

The only things I found last year were a cloud car and a star destroyer box. I wish I could find half of what you found.

This was a great thread last year starwarsfan picked something up every week. I love seeing what ppl find
out there and hope to have better luck myself this year.

Great i love finding loose figs in the charity shop nothing beats that feeling. All my bootsales are off now due to rain probably the same everywhere but i went over to SRP toy fair this morning and picked up this B wing £11 ok no canopy or guns but battery covers intact and the wings work cant complain.

Roll on the dry weather and open bootsales
