Hi guys.

I have just been offered this collection of star wars toys.

From the picture you can see that nothing is boxed and you can't see the figures very well but I was just wondering how much this is worth as a collection and if they were sold individually. Could someone please tell me what year they are from too?

Many thanks

Grant.

Hi Grant. Welcome to the Forum.
Thats a nice starter collection there but nothing rare really.
As for the Year it depends. Figures such as R5D4 Boba Fett and Luke X Wing Pilot are from A New Hope and were made in 78. Figures such as IG88 and Lobot and the Wampa are from Empire Strikes Back in 1980. Figures such as Emperors Royal Guard, Bib Fortuna and General Madine are from Return of the Jedi in 1983.
As for a value I am sure some of the other guys will give a better idea but as you dont have all the weapons and as some of the vehicles at first glance seem to be missing parts I would say £75-£125?

I would like to collect the figures but I was wondering how much would I get for the vehicles if I sold them separately?

Liam knows a shed load more about collecting, values, quotes etc but i reckon that the collection is worth a bit more than that.

The only ship i see which initially look like its missing items is the X Wing, but the missing cannons may be in the small pile of weapons on the right. The Falcon, At At, and Tie Fighter look ok (to me). Difficult to know if the Rebel Transport has all of the internal components. The Tie Fighter looks like it's top hatch is missing, but its just open.

I would happily pay £150 for that collection.

But, i will refer back to my first point, Liam is much more of an expert than me :)

After having a closer inspection at the pics Jez is right. I was a little harsh in my previous valuation. £150-200 is a little more realistic.
