Cheers Grant, that list lead me to the cult following of Willrow Rood.

I YouTubed him to see him in action with his ice cream maker in ESB, this lead me to a link of a load of Wilrow fans dressed up and running around Celebration VI :lol: :lol: :lol:

That's the 1st thing I thought - do not diss R5D4
My R5 saw plenty of action in the 70's and 80's. Pretty sure him and his mate DSD were the "baddie" robots when I was growing up, always causing problems for R2 and 3PO!

Then as I got older and I saw the film a few more times he got promoted to "goodie" status and was always lending a hand to fix X Wings and snow speeders
what's not to like about R5 - classic figure with huge amounts of play value.

Now Imperial dignitary - that's another story. That guy should have been on the list!

R5D4 is an iconic Star Wars figure and there is no way he should be on that list.

In addition the card back for R5 is such a classic scence and one of my favourite card backs
