what better way to come out of lurk-mode than to show the goodies?

here's where i'm standing today, collection-wise
my goal, if any, is to collect a nice "slice" of what is out there in the world of vintage star wars. the kenner line as a base to start from, but with a unhealthy interest in "foreign" versions, funky oddball stuff, and esthetically (sp?) pleasing lay outs in general.

lots of work to be done, still
one of the first next steps will be adding another glass cabinet..

-- took some daylight pictures, and cleaned up a little

(fiy just about any non-sw item you see here is possibly up for a trade against something that would fit nicely in my sw collection)

WOW!!! SWEET MATE SWEET!! Got to say that cabinet works wonders, really shows the gears off in all it's splenda. There aint one piece I wouldn't not want to add to my collection, especially that remote control Landspeeder.


I'm hoping to start a vintage collecting year next year because I have been focusing mainly on modern for years, but I do buy the occasional vintage pieces, mainly the 3 3/4 figures of which I have a fair few. I would love some pieces like those in my new collection, you lucky chap you. :lol:

got it from a friend & fellow filmmaker & collector after he was invited over there, the lucky bastard
