Hunter toys on Ebay

Guys,

Have any of you dealt with Hunter toys on Ebay.Bought something from him last week,and he was good enough to wait a few days for payment which i appreciate,but **** me,sending a boxed mini rig in a larger box with no padding etc takes the piss.It was rattling about like a ****ing cock in a big frothy fanny

Just wanted to see if anyone else has had problems.

Bought a very nice Weequay MOC from him, came unprotected in a small box, which was crushed, and the bubble cracked, needless to say
the figure was halfway out of the bubble and the card had a big crease in the top left corner....

I bought a MIB Droid Factory from him, packaging was OK and he even threw in a FREE AT-ST box as he knew I was looking for one.

This is not the 1st time I heard about bad packaging though.

But he is a nice guy, maybe asking him for better packaging in advance next time and asking for a refund now may help.

I always find their auction descriptions lacking in information so that puts me off. This packing problem has proved me right!

Lee is a very nice guy to talk to and deal with, I appreciate though that packaging things up properly is ultimately the most important part of being a good seller - I did purchase something from him this year and asked for it to be in a star case and packed with peanuts, well I got a good sized box, star case but no peanuts inside the case, they were just in the box around the outside of the star case - figure was just fine but I think my instructions on how to pack it properly were not really understood.

Lee has a bricks and mortar store so it's possible he is more used to selling things in person and/or selling modern (bread and butter of these toy shops!) so while he does deal in Vintage I think it's safe to assume that he isn't 100% aware of how fragile things are when travelling up and down the country in a post van.

I would definitely deal with him again but definitely make sure I got my packaging requirements understood a bit better next time.

As for speedy delivery + comms though - top stuff like I said, got the figure in record time and he is super quick to reply to messages! I guess I am thankful it turned up in one piece!

Yes i had some stuff from him ages ago i prefer buying from random sellers who are selling there stuff not specialists who put together ships and sets from 100s of different parts on e bay then have the cheek to call it mint and original Iv had some amazing deals the last two weeks some beautiful boxed items .
