How often do you watch the films?

Watched them all on Blu Ray semi recently. I usually just watch them if they are in the TV. Although the adverts suck ass.

don't really consider them part of the story.

Totally agree - to me they form no part of SW, the Force is still a mystical energy field not midi what evers

I have been reliably informed (I'm totally making this up but fingers crossed) that Disney are waiting for PS4 and Xbox to get a hardware refresh this October that will allow them to play 4K. That will make 4k mainstream in a lot of homes throughout the world and allow them to release the original unaltered versions in 2017 for the 40th anniversary :D

P.S. Disney if you are reading this please please please make it happen, pay Fox what ever they need for SW and lets give everyone what they want.

P.P.S Please don't release it as a 6 film box set just the original 3 with a **** load of extra features including "Star Wars to Jedi the making of a saga" - the one that wasn't included in the last box set because it pays tribute to the wonderfully talented prop and puppet makers that were all dumped for cartoon versions in the "specials"

I watched all three over a few days the other week. Hadn't seen them in a while, loved it. Still see things I don't think I have before. I prob only watch them about a few times a year. A time comes when I need to see them. Sometimes I find myself just banging on a certain bit to answer a question or get a look at a prop or costume or something! I have DVD and the Blue ray set. I prefer the Blue ray now just because the picture is soooo good and sharp on a big modern TV, it's unreal. I don't really like the edits but I can live with them. Got to watch the films... that's what it's all about.

Having heavily overdosed on them throughout the late 80s/early 90s I haven't watched them regularly in a long time (seriously, my brother & I watched the ITV version of SW almost every day for about a year in the mid 80s   ), so probably once or twice every couple of years. I recently acquired the despecialised editions of the original trilogy and watched the ESB version about a year ago - it's great to see an HD version of it in all its unscrewed-with glory!

Had plans of watching ESB today but got distracted by the Empire of Dreams documentary. Happens more often than not :)

Probably  My Mrs can't sit through any film without either falling to sleep or getting distracted by the bloody internet :x

I watch the laser disc star wars occasionally, would love to pick the original theatrical version up on blu ray. Other than that if the original trilogy is on itv 2, I'll sit and watch them.

I watch the Star Wars movies maybe twice a year. I've got all 6 remastered on blu-ray, i have to one day do the marathon challenge of watching them all B2B with my DD surround sound system. 8)
