what horror movies scared you the most ,
1st to scare me was american werewolf in london ,this stopped me watching horrors for a few years to tell you the truth.if i watch it now i carnt understand why :? :? :?

then i thought i would risk it again and was put of for even longer ,that was by the evil dead ,scared the **** out of me

on a similer note has any one done a ouija board

i was always scared of horror movies when i was young but i watched a Nightmare on Elm Street once and thought 'gee this is rubbish' and ever since then they don't scare me one bit.....the movies that i reckon are the scariest are the films that include a lot of suspense. I also think that the soundtrack or the sound effects in the background goes along way to making a horror film scary, take the original chainsaw massacre...not scary now but the music and effects are top notch which make it feel scary.

THe ones that freak me out are the eerie ones, like halloween.

Used to like all the gorie ones but now don't find them interesting.

'The Shining' scared the crap out of me when i was younger. i couldnt walk down long hotel corridors for ages after i watched it, always expected a girlon a tricycle to come round the corner!!!!

I know im going to get the piss ripped for this but the only movie or thing for that matter that has ever really freaked me out and made me cry was E.T. (I was 4!!!)

Mind you the Mrs still can`t eat Spaghetti because of something to do with the Tusken Raiders or Jawas in ANH, she can`t remember witch, she was also 4ish at the time.

What a great couple we make!!!!!! 8)

Horror movies don't really scare me although I have never watched "The Ring" just in case the storyline turns into reality !!

I'm not a huge fan of creepy crawly things, so I didn't watch Arachnaphobia till years after it came out. When I did I think I spent more time laughing than anything else.

Aliens (the second one) scared me the first time I saw it, the bit were they sort of peel off the wall. Can watch it no probs now though.

Must admit the Ring did make me jump in the cinema when I went to see it

Never done a ouija board, and never would to be honest. Come to think of it, I don't know anyone who has.

we did i ouija board at school,a kinda craze went round .i swear down it works
we all ended up down the vicarage telling the vicar .he took us all in to a room ,sat us in a circle said a pray while going round touching our heads
(thats the ones on our shoulders before anyone twists it),this only freaked us out even more by how serious he took it and some of the scary **** he told us.

still did another about 5 years later but didnt seem to work like the first ,i put this down to that prayer

How did it work, I mean what happened to make you think it work. Never done one so just interested in what happens etc.

I personally Love the horror movie stuff although American Werewolf (or anything with werewolfs in scared the **** out of i until recently!!

Faves are Hellraiser, dog soldiers, Hitcher, evil dead, living dead and Saw 1,2 and havent seen 3 yet.

monster mash :D

Another vote for Halloween - you know what's going to happen, but that when that music starts its pants shitting time......

what happened with the ouija jabba? never done one myself but the only advice I ever remember my dad giving me was stay away from them

The film that used to scare the **** out of me was 'the fog'!
Its still one of my favourite films now. Its all to do with the way john carpenter put creepy piano music in his films.

I'm a big fan of Horror and always have been  Zombie movies are my favourite but will watch anything with a bit of Gore in it

The movie scared me most was the Exorcist  I watched when I was 7 with my 2 older brothers and it scared the pants off me

Tried the Ouija board a few times years ago but can't confirm if it works as I am a bit of a sceptic and I was sure someone was pushing the glass

I like Final Destination films (if you class them as horror) as they are both funny and nerve racking at the same time. 8)

elm street and halloween and fog are classics but the one that used to scare me as a kid was the Thing . still think it looks grest today , dark eerie ,the not knowing who is infected and realistic looking setting.

Yes great film probably the best Kurt Russell ever did except big trouble in little china!!

The movie scared me most was the Exorcist

Coco I had the same problem with that film but you watch it now and it is laughable.
