Now more than ever you realize why we are allies. These people will never like us no matter what we do (proven over decades). It is horrible some of the **** that goes on in this world in the name of beliefs. Should we enforce the death penalty?? It would not bring back anyone who is now gone..so probably not. I think a nuke targeted at the precise area were this eminates from would work better ( not my country or yours)...but there I go being the millitant person I am.

Incredibly sad and savage death, so many answers needed. One of these :twisted: was apparently preaching hate on the high street only last week. Not alarming enough to predict what followed but another example of the extremes the extremists will go to. Were these people on the radars of the special forces or were they just passed off as fruitcakes preaching bile.

As to what to do with them, that's a tough call. Lock them up for life ? Sadly I don't think life in prison is a punishment anymore, yes you loose your freedom but you don't loose all of your libities or rights and from what you tend to see and hear get a cushy lifestyle. It's fair to say these guys will be targeted and could end up losing their lives in prison unless they are put in solitary confinement which would only be for their own safety and not for the crimes they have committed.

Government need to tighten up the laws governing hate preaching and get away from the European Court of Human Rights because it those bloody laws that are allowing these criminals to live amongst our society.

EDL need to shut the **** up end of!

Nd in this world of digital media its virtually impossible to shut down the footage going out around the world, is it a good thing or bad thing? On one hand the sane world draws closer together at the shock of what's happened but in the fanatical psychotic world it fuels their passions.

I haven't seen the footage nor will I go looking for it, I was up late last night when I saw the news of this unfolding and felt sick to my stomach listening to the BBC presenter just describing it.

Today I made a point of not listening to talk radio or watching the news as I know just how much the media will take the death of this poor man and run with it. It's just too ****in depressing for words and I work in news print.

All this kind of selfish media crap will do is feed the bigots, groups like the EDL will revel in the excuse to spew more hate onto the streets in the name of nationalistic pride and by the end of the week 90% of them wouldn't even remember the name of the man who was murdered.

Only two nights ago I watched a documentary on Greece and the emergence of the Golden Dawn Party, these pricks raid Hospitals for ****s sake looking for illegal immigrants and if they find one they drag them out onto the street and beat them. They are using Greece's unstable economy as a tool to perpetuate their agenda and more and more usually conservative Greeks are signing on everyday.

I know burying your head in the sand accomplishes nothing but at the moment I don't have the strength for this level of human cruelty, I just don't!!

This is basically what the men who murdered the soldier in london said. He was being "punished" for the deaths of 100s of muslim men and women killed in Iraq and Afghanistan over the last 12 years. [that's how they see it anyway]
And this is where we have to be very careful The passion and lust for this kind of action/retribution is understandable but not doing it is what set us apart from those animals.
