Hi all

Ive been collecting for 5 years (been reading here for a while and im pretty sure i have purchased off some of your ebay i.ds in the past)
I have 12 afa graded mocs all 80 or 85 and about 25 ungraded mocs in mint condition i also have some mint and complete boxed ships At At, falcon etc.
What i want to know is it worth collecting mocs or will the bubbles eventually disintergrate and the figure fall off the cards? Ive noticed a few posters saying this and it has made me slightly concerned considering the amount of money us moc collectors can spend.
Previous to coming to this forum i thought if the mocs are protected out of sunlight and cased in acrylic cases this wouldn't happen at least not for hundreds of years anyway.
Has anybody got any thoughts advice about this? :D

Hi mate welcome to the forum. They have lasted this long why wont they last another 30 years or longer. Some of the bubbles have started to come off. I now got all my carded figures graded. I only really display the ones the have been cased on a UV case

my unproffessional opion is if they are still in good shape after this long and you look after them i cant see the bubbles falling off

Welcome! Storing them flat down rather than standing up will make the bubbles stay on longer. Palitoy tend to have better bubbles than Kenner so they tend to stay clear longerer and have less tendency to drop off. As to how long before they all drop off? Not before I'm pushing up the dasies.

Hello and welcome to the forum.

You got any pics of your figures to share?

Funny but very true

Welcome to the forum.

I'm with the others, they will fall off eventually, but (hopefully) that won't be for a long long time yet.
There's probably more danger of them being destroyed in the post, or by Jabba, than the bubbles fallin off, at the minute anyway.

Thanks for the replies

lol Jabba i know from reading your posts before that you like to take figures off there cards you have more bottle than me! but i bet its very satisfiying to do.
