Hi New here !! Looking for some advice please

Hi, I am new here. Many years ago my ex girlfriend worked for Hasbro, just as episode one was launching.

At the time I thought that some of the Toys would become collectable, as a result I bought a large amount circa 250 pieces. ( little example below)



Have lots of figures, games, space ships, dolls etc etc
I have stored most of them in the loft and have moved them times in 14 years and am just about to move again !!!

Just wondered what the best way of selling the collectables would be ?

And advice very welcome

Hi,

The modern pieces don't attract the same levels of return as the vintage line. Some pieces may net you a nice profit but I believe those pieces are few and far between.

Although this forum is a vintage collecting forum there are collectors of modern on here who would be better placed to give you the advice you are after so hopefully they will chip in.

I would have thought your best bet would be to sell it all as a job lot on ebay or any other advertisement site. If you have the time and patience you could list rarer items individually to maximise your profit or group the items into lots that can be posted and sell that way. With such a large collection you would be limiting your audience with a local pick up only so offering a postage service will give you a better sale.

How much for the R2 art set?
