If it's real it's worth that, yes. I'm not 100%. The card looks good but the bubble doesn't quite look right. Joe's the man to ask. Would be interested to hear his view.

I saw this when it went up, it looks like someone took the outside of ebay route or Shaun sold it in person somewhere (show or his shop)

It looks right as far as what it is suppose to be, the fact that it is from Shaun N and is cracked doesn't inspire a lot of faith in the thing though.

If the figure inside and the weapon are all original (it HAS to be the no COO meccano Fett to be the correct figure) then it's probably worth $700 or so in that state, a crack on a figure is a deal breaker even for a Fett Trilogo.

I always break down cracked bubbles/reseals by the sum of their individual parts:

Original Cardback = $150-200
Original no COO Meccano figure = $300-400 to the right person
Original bubble with a pretty good seal = $50-100 (just because you can display it like a MOC)

Just my opinion though, I wouldn't buy anything from the dude that is for sure - god knows what he got for it but I think it could have been the real deal judging from the pics!

In a nutshell: Notoriety.

He was always a show off and wanted to be a big collecting name on the boards. He stole pictures of items that weren't his to get a few pats on the back from random people on the internet he will never meet, when that was found out he started buying random "grail" items (foreign MOC, rare stuff, errors, anything controversial too) and posting them on all the sites for people to marvel at.

Then he started dabbling in creating his own rare items, with a trilogo miscard he invented himself and tried to sell on ebay.

It seems John gets off on other collectors talking about his stuff, unfortunately everyone just thinks he is an enormous ****.
