What an. exciting lunch - email from HasLab saying the Ghost is getting ready to ship - granted not until Dec so still a few weeks/months to go but about time....

You can see why Hasbro try and squeeze as much out of the retail price as possible when this happens every single time

Yeah - but it a problem of their own making.
They could solve this overnight if they wanted to. Fix their distribution channels, drop the crowd funding, which is tantamount to very high-end exclusives, level the prices, reduce the volume and make sure everyone can get everything they make.

Not sure if it is open yet, but last time I wandered through Battersea Power Station I saw that they (Hasbro) were opening a bricks and mortar Transformers store....perhaps Hasbro should look more widely at that (it works for Lego).

Anyway - the irony of course is that while I don't agree with HasLab - The ghost will be my second purchase, so that makes me a hypocrite :)

Tangent done - still looking forward to getting this, even if I never open it...

Well - I got my 'Haslab item has shipped' email today - very exciting. Now for the worrying part - since ordering it I have moved house, I did follow the less than well laid out instructions for changing the shipping address (a basic e-commerce feature for most digital retailers....) so fingers crossed it comes to the correct place......

Have to say I am a little worried about this - not only is the new address not showing up in all the correct parts of the order - but f*&ing Yodal are doing the delivery - why the F$&K would Hasbro use to the worlds worst delivery company to ship one of the most expensive items they've ever made........... (and none of the tracking info works).....

I'm keeping everything firmly crossed for the right outcome on this for you, I've not bought any of their exclusives myself, was fairly tempted by the sail barge but just no room to display it, so could not justify it.

Just how much was this on pre order then??

Have you tried the tracking with both postcodes?

yes - with both - nothing coming up on either - not exactly a surprise given how bad Yodal are - but lets wait and see...

Well it came early so fair play.

Oh my god it is massive…. The box weight is 22.5kg alone….

Mine arrived today. I agree, the thing is ridiculously big. Too big, if I'm honest. At 22.5 KG and in an outer packing box measuring 32 x 34 x 13.5 inches (just to mix metric and imperial ;)), and with a Yodel delivery man that simply left it on my doorstep leaving me to have to lug it into the house single-handed, convenient it most certainly is not!

I'll post photos tomorrow, all being well. I've opened the outer and inner packing boxes, but not the actual Ghost box itself yet...

One on eBay for £250 sans the figures. Very tempted to be honest. Might get in trouble with her who shall be obeyed though 😬

That's a good price, most on FB are asking around £500.
You would want to collect as the postage will be eye watering.
You wouldn't be able to sneak that in without the Boss knowing though!
