Han's Laser Pistol

Hi lads,

I'm thinking of bidding for a boxed Han Solo's Laser Pistol as I had one as a child. The one I'm watching is shrink wrapped. Does anyone of you know if this is how they came off factory? I have seen many on ebay with an open box, so I wonder...

I can't be sure, but I don't remember them being shrink wrapped. The box was open faced so the kids could try it out and irritate everyone in the store with the blaster sounds, I was one of them that did that.

I swear I have seen one shrink wrapped for sale, I will see what I can find out for you Emiel, if so it might just have been a few stores that did it themselves. That kind of thing can happen even today, shops shrink wrap things up or tape things together for whatever reason.

Found it - Craig_ginter was selling one a while ago on RS , I would say if you find one sealed like this it's actually pretty cool and I would guess as I said above that it is original.

BTW I wouldn't be surprised if the shrink wrapped pistol is the exact same one Craig sold.

Thats the way I remember them being. But the shrink wrapped ones are a hell of a lot nicer to display, IMO.

I used the BIN on the no shrinkwrap one mate. Were you thinking of buying the Takara?

My freind showed me his example that was shrink wrapped. He purchased it from an auction house. On the viewing day the shrink wrap was perfect. Some muppet had put their finger through it by the time the auction came :roll:
