On closer inspection I have noticed a few more sculpt differences between the two Line, Hong Kong figures and the 5 Line, Made in Hong Kong figure.
First off is the belt. The end of the belt had two different moulds.

You can see quite clearly here that the Small COO and large COO figure's (Shown on the left) have two 'dots' as opposed to the MIHK figure which has a raised square with Dots.

Another difference is the Chest emblem sculpts on the figures differ. The MIHK figure, On top here, has a noticeable larger dot and square compared to a smaller dot and square on the 2 Line, Hong Kong figures.

Holster Sculpt:

An interesting little feature on the figures in the Hong Kong figure variants is the Holster Sculpt. The MIHK figure has a much sharper sculpted holster compared to a more rounded holster on the 2 Line, Hong Kong figure variants. These few shots show the difference between the two sculpt.

Hong Kong Families update:

Having taken a much closer look at the Hong Kong figure variants I have, it is apparent that apart from the obvious differences in COO markings, there are a number of sculpt differences.
I thought I might just sum up the last few posts in one little condensed post.

So, in Brief. There are three Hong Kong COO families.
Large COO, 2 line, Markings on left leg
Small COO, 2 line, Markings on left leg
Made in Hong Kong(MIHK), 5 Line, Markings on both legs.

Sculpt differences:
1. Large/Small COO have full pocket to right of buckle
2. MIHK has larger, square pocket to left of buckle
3. MIHK has six sided buckle compared to five on the other variants.
4. MIHK has raised square with Dots on belt end as opposed to just dots on the 2 Line, Hong Kong figure variants.
5. Large COO variant has noticeable larger right thumb.
6. MIHK figure has larger dot on chest emblem.
7. MIHK figure has Squared' holster compared to 'Rounded' holster on the 2 Line figures
8. Large/Small COO have two line knot on the scarf.
9. Large COO variant has single fold at rear of scarf.

Bit of a small one. However, I know some people are interested in the complete overview of variants. Just had a look at the peg hole position and shapes on the Hong Kong figures. There doesn't appear to be any discernable differences between the three figure families.

Made in Hong Kong figure update:

New MIHK figure today. Similar leg markings to the other two figures I currently have. Slightly different leg colour, shown further below.

I currently have three Made in Hong Kong figures.

All three have differing Leg colours as can be seen here, they all have similar face paint application with the one on the right having a slightly different mould.

Large Hong Kong COO figure update:

Three new Large Hong Kong COO variants in today. All three feature the distinctive 'larger' right thumb. The darker leg figure has unusual markings, as in that they are almost covered by the paint application.

Some differing Leg colours:
This picture shows the darker figures leg markings which are quite obscured by the paint application.

I currently have four of these figures. All four have differing Leg colours and face paint applications.

4000th Post aswell.....whooo.. :D

Another update jeff, I did not know about the distinctive 'larger' right thumb

Thanks :D

No COO variant:

Just had this variant arrive in. Palitoy No COO figure. Date stamp markings on left leg. Interestingly it has a 'larger' right thumb, similar to large Hong Kong COO variant which has been discussed before.

One small thing I noticed was a mark on the rear of the figure. It can be just seen in the picture above of the Leg markings. I'm not sure if this is a common feature on No COO figures.? This close up shows it better.

As discussed, the No COO figure has the Large right thumb similar to the Large COO Hong Kong figure.

Here's a comparison shot of the No COO alongside the Hong Kong figure. Both figures have the distinctive bigger thumb.

This particular figure comes with a 'peach' flesh face:

The No COO figure has a small difference on the belt sculpt compared to the Hong Kong families. It has larger dots at the end of the belt, highlighted here.
It is unusual as well, so far in it has a mixture of characteristics of the Hong Kong figure belts. Namely, it has a large square pocket to left of buckle, similar to the Made in Hong Kong figure. However, it has a five sided buckle like the ones on the 2 line, Hong Kong figures.

Small Hong Kong COO figure update:

Had this figure arrive as well, really nice Small Hong Kong COO figure. This variant has a really 'Pink face' compared to the other two figures I currently have. Also quite noticeable is the difference in colour between the two legs on the figure.

Here's a shot of the figures legs alongside the other two figures. The colour differences are seen quite well here...the latest figure is to the foreground.

Glove colours:

The Han Hoth figure seems to come with a number of different glove colours. I have found three on the figures I have picked up. The colours are not specific to any one COO family and all colours appear on all different figures.

Face paint application:

Similarly to the gloves, the figure comes with a large number of different face colours. Here is a selection of the quite noticeable colour variations.
Ranging from white to bright pink.

That's it for now, I will most likely stick on the quick COO reference Photo tomorrow and that will cover the three Hong Kong COO families and the No COO figure which are the more common figures found. :D

Thanks

Thanks Lars, that's pretty much it for the Han Hoth figure, as I say, I'm just trying to show the most common COO variants... :D

If anyone else has different variants ie. Moulded leg, poch chocolate legs etc please feel free to add photos
Thanks.
