I agree it was a 50/1 shot or somehting like that but with Ebay/Paypal always likely to find in your favout then maybe the OP thought it was worth a shot

We have all gambled but sometimes the gamble is just wishful thinking (or being let loose on ebay after a few drinks) :lol:
I once gambled on a no feedback new user selling a Blue Snaggletooth, didn't expect to get it so was quite surprised when my £50 (or so) extra mint Snag arrived 2 weeks later from the states, turns out it was the guys childhood figure and he was as honest as they come! He later sold a bunch more stuff but everyone stayed away from that Snaggletooth because he literally had zero feedback when he listed it.
£50 gambles are ok..£500 ones aren't :mrgreen:

Too true Joe, my worst gamble was £120.00 12 back stormie, thought I had a bargain turned out a repo card and even the bloody postman left it in my wheelie bin, he must have known it was **** too.

my biggest ebay gamble...well small gamble, was buying a esb carded dengar for £15 on a zero feedback seller...needless too say i paid by cheque as they didnt except paypal that should of sent the alarm bells ringing...took a punt....it never came

Unless this does go back to ebay to be destroyed I'm 90% certain that it will turn up again on ebay either through the orginal seller or a shadow account/friend. Just hope that they describe it accurately this time round!!
