This is what confuses me though..
The seller said in big bold red lettering in the question/answers section way before auction end...
"If you are uncertain of this item's authenticity then please refrain from placing a bid, I would much rather not have to worry about cases being opened against me, not knowing if I am allowed to touch the money that the auction generates in case it needs to be returned, I would rather it went for less and the buyer were happy. thank you"
So at this point, 99.9% of the worlds eBay watching population know that this is an admission that the item is not genuine. The seller says specifically I don't know if it's fake or not (orange light), please don't bid thinking it is genuine (red light) and I don't really want you returning it (flashing red light and siren sound).
..and playing even bigger devils advocate, is'nt this a sort of disclaimer by the seller?
Look, please don't hate me, but to shell out £500, which as mentioned is more than a loose VC would cost, is just ridiculous. I just don't get it. Were youngambling on the massive odds of it being something ultra special?? Were you making a point to the seller (done a million times in messages received no doubt)?? Or saving the noobs from a dud??..but then your returning it so it will 100% still end up being sold to some poor gullible **** somewhere.
Really confused.
