I understand he has Palitoy suff and its very desirable, but I myself don't want to give money to someone who cannot provide prices and a nice friendly service. It doesn't instill confidene does it? Its obvious he's come on here to sell his stuff and leave.

This thread should of just been locked up from the start. If anyone wanted to deal in private, that would of been up to them, and they could of cried about it to themselves later if it went south.

This is how easy it is to handle.
If a noob comes in to just sell and they haven't even said hi....lock the thread or delete it.
Not exactly ****ing rocket science now is it.

Edd's happy enough for people to come on and sell stuff, and the reason I didn't delete his thread or lock it was that he did actually post his mobile number. I assume anyone who puts that on is actually looking to sell, hence I gave him a chance. Sadly a lot of one post wonders do seem to give up when they realise that we won't just send them money on the back of one picture and that, shock horror, we want more info, pictures and proof.

But I'm sure people on here have bought from one post wonders before without problems.
Yes, most are a pain in the ass, but some do result in members getting stuff they want. I don't like them, but I don't think banning all one post sellers is really in everyone's interest.

I seem to have been mistaken as to what week it is in regards to what is okay, and what isn't okay, in regards to someone with Palitoy items or was it, a person without Palitoy items???? Argh!!!! Not a ruling, just a loose rule of thumb. We all know some people who join are clearly jokers and or scammers and they deserve the abuse they get, but some people do join genuinely looking to sell. It's not always easy telling the two apart, but Edd prefers to keep the site as open as possible, rather than have too many rules etc, down that path lies RS!

I act thought yer man was legit, given he posted his mobile number, if it turns out he's just another muppet then by all means abuse him (and me).

I don't disagree that he wants to sell, but some manners and a little bit of common sense makes it easier.

I didn't want to disrupt any sales, just thought I'd make people aware with some feedback. Didn't want anyone losing their hard earned green stuff!

I also agree with the rule of thumb as few and far between there are some good sellers and nice guys such as Rob who was here recently.

I will not buy from based on all I am hearing from Bram. It appears he is posting no prices....and going fishing. On a side note...I am glad to see Josh as not given his farewell speech to us like he did on RS. :lol:
