Good News!!!

Keep fighting and if your watching the football switch it off, it won't make you feel any better :)

Hey bud- I find your attitude inspiring.

It's so nice to see hear the blog of someone who is simply just more than.

I find it grounding and something to inspire to be.

I wish you my very best, but with your outlook, I think you've already got anought firepower.

Hello Andy,

Glad to hear the news of no cancer, and stay strong thru the therapy. Hopefully now your comfy at home. As you can see were all here praying and pulling for you buddy and if you ever need to talk or need anything at all were at your call my brother. Peace and love to you and the family. Bless

Lord, I pray for my friend Andy just as your Word tells me to pray, for healing. I believe you hear this earnest prayer from my heart and that it is powerful because of your promise. I have faith in you, Lord, to heal my friend, but I also trust in the plan you have for his life.

Lord, I don't always understand your ways. I don't know why my friend has to suffer, but I trust you. I ask that you look with mercy and grace toward my friend. Nourish his spirit and soul in this time of suffering and comfort him with your presence. Let my friend know you are there with him through this difficulty. Give him strength. And may you be glorified in his life.

Amen

Thanks for your words of support guys.

At the moment I'm in ****ing agony. The reason is I'm having daily injections to stimulate my bone marrow to create more stem cells more then my body can handle so that it spills in to the blood stream so they can be harvested easier.

My pelvis and chest are throbbing, I've been prescribed tramadol which hasn't scratched the surface.

The harvest is on Monday and have been informed that there will be a journalist doing a story on it so had to give permission for pictures and stuff  .

Right another update

Had the stem cell harvest done yesterday meant 4.5 hours laying still with tubes coming out of each arm, took 8 attempts to put the canulas in :x luckily they got enough so I didn't have to do it all again today.

Journalist came along and took some pictures and asked some questions, should be in the local soutwest paper in the next couple of weeks.

Just waiting for a call from the transplant consultant now.

Hi chaps haven't updated for a while, life's been hectic. I'll be going into hospital on the 27th to have the high dose chemo and transplant I'll be for 3-5weeks depending on how my blood counts recover.

I'll be having what they call BEAM chemotherapy and one of the drugs is mustard gas

I've been a bit of a media whore around these parts, been on the radio and in the local papers

Cheers mate.

Not familiar with that name to be honest. But the brewery's have taken over quite a few pubs around here so might have a change of name.
