This kind of situation is always difficult. Do I pay gift or not? I've seen this topic come up so so much over the last year. I just did a deal on here over the last few weeks and I paid gift. I used the same philosophy that you have used about the Sellers feedback and length of membership. But of course I had the utmost confidence that him being a stand up member of swfuk, I had nothing to worry about

If I was to get shafted in the end... then that's my fault and I'm pretty aware of that.
I've sent an item to Germany in the spring and it took over a month :x , and during that month I had posted something else to Singapore that had arrived  Just today, someone I traded with in the UK, sent me a note with some concern about a current track on the parcel that I sent, just under 2 weeks ago. I've been a buyer, seller and trader is my point and I've seen delays to Europe and the UK.
Some people may call me anal, but I prefer to call it being meticulous and attentive to detail. I take photos of item wrapped up, boxed up, outside of box and even the printed shipping label (showing their name and mine and a tracking number) which is paid for. I make every attempt to show the person I deal with that if the item that is traded or sold is lost, it was not due to me scamming anyone. I am not saying a dishonest POS scammer can't do what I stated but it seems a little much, with the photos and printing out a paid for parcel label, when their end goal was to deprive? But who knows?
I still have hope for you that it's delayed shipping, sucks waiting yes, and hopefully there will be no getting the stinky end of the stick
